About the Project
In the late 1960s, herbalist Rosemary Gladstar met community activist and environmentalist Drake Sadler. Both were searching for healthier alternatives — a more conscious lifestyle, natural foods, and herbal remedies. In 1974, they co-founded Traditional Medicinals with the mission of making a positive impact on the world.

The company sources its herbs from certified organic medicinal farms in the U.S., including its long-time partner since 1981, Trout Lake Farm in Washington. Traditional Medicinals is a certified B Corporation and proudly promotes fair, ethical, and sustainable work practices.
Packaging Concept
This project is a modern reinterpretation of a three-flavour herbal tea collection by Traditional Medicinals. Each flavour has been reimagined with a distinct visual identity, while staying true to the brand’s natural and ethical values. The goal was to create a clean, soft, and premium look that reflects the calming and healing nature of herbal remedies.

Target Audience
This packaging concept is designed for women between the ages of 35 and 75 — educated, health-conscious, and environmentally aware individuals. They care deeply about where their products come from and often turn to herbal solutions for everyday wellness rather than pharmaceutical options. This audience is typically interested in alternative medicine practices such as naturopathy, homeopathy, and acupuncture.
